The busy summer continues for Danny Scopes and his staff, we can today announce 3 more exciting signings.

Scopsey who was announced as the new Concord Rangers manager only a matter of 3 weeks ago is wasting no time in stamping his own mark on the beach boys. With several players departing this summer for moves around the National League, Scopsey along with Adam Drew have spent time looking outside of the National League to recruit a squad of young and exciting players.

The first of 3 signings today is 26 year old Jack Cawley. Jack is a center-half and joins us from Maldon and Tiptree.

Cawley also had a spell with Heybridge after spending time in the states playing for Ann Arbor.

Danny Scopes is excited by the signing of Cawley and added ‘Jack is a real leader and will be great for us. He’s a presence on and off the pitch will be an asset to the team and club’

Chris Millar also joins the beach boys today from local club Heybridge Swift. Chris is a creative attacking midfielder who spent time with Charlton Athletic before moving on at the end of the 2017 season.

‘Chris technically is an outstanding player. I am looking forward to working with him and seeing what he can bring to us’ said Danny

The last signing of the day is 23-year-old striker Danny Bassett from Tooting & Mitcham United. Danny scored 20 goals with 10 assists last season for Tooting and has also had spells with Staines Town and Egham Town.

After a busy 3 weeks, Scopsey added ‘Danny is a player who knows where the net is and I’m looking forward to seeing him prove that at this level’
