CONCORD are looking to unearth their latest future star from Essex.

Over the years the club has helped many players into the pro game including ex-Beachboys youth teamer and now Bradford City star, Billy Knott.

And now Rangers are about to launch a new full-time Academy which will provide three Uefa B coaching standard training sessions a week on the 3G pitch at Waterside Farm Sports Centre.

Under the management of experienced first team midfielder Gary Ogilvie, teams will compete in the British Colleges Sport league and as part of Concord’s Under-18s set up in the Eastern Junior Alliance.

Those with the ability and the right character and determination will also have a chance of joining up with Danny Cowley?s successful Conference South side – and maybe progressing into a dream career in the pro game.

Participants will be current Year 11 pupils and will work towards a BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Sports Development on the two-year programmme.

The government funded project is free but there will be a subsidised fee for kit.

Trials will be held at Waterside Farm Sports Centre on the following dates:

* Monday, February 16, 10am-12pm
* Saturday, March 7, 11pm-1pm
* Tuesday, April 7, 6-8pm
