CONCORD RANGERS have commissioned a brand new club badge to reflect their growing success and place in the heart of Canvey’s community.

The new design features a representation of Concord Beach on Canvey Island, from which the Vanarama South side takes its name and its nickname the Beachboys.

The waves from the nearby Thames are also depicted coming onto the sand which sits in front of the Essex island’s famous sea wall.

The club?s blue and yellow colour scheme has been kept and it is all displayed in a shield design rather than the circle shape previously in place.

Concord chairman Antony Smith said: ?We have made great strides with success on the field in recent years and we continue to make a host of improvements off it with the club?s infrastructure.

?This coming season we will have a new manager in Adam Flanagan of course and we will be looking to take the next step in our evolution.

?So we felt a new badge which depicts out place in the heart of the community was needed and we are very happy with the one that has been produced.?

The club would like to thank James Coates at Impact Media and Rod Hall at Design4Print for all of their help with the project.
