Concord completed a comfortable win over Bostik Premier League Margate thanks to two second half goals at a cold and wet Aspect Arena.
The Beachboys were very much in control of the game from the offset and could have opened the scoring with a number of first half chances going astray.
The hosts top goalscorer Alex Wall thought he’d done enough when he saw his powerful snap shot well saved by the legs of Harry Newcombe.
The opener eventually came from a neat set piece. Danny Green crossing high for Lee Minshull who headed powerfully across goal for the arrival of assistant manager Jack Midson who nudged the ball home.
Wall almost added a second, a mazy run and a sweeping left footer shading just wide of the post.
Wall was key to the second goal providing a perfect cross to find young Adam Topley who rose highest to head cleanly into the top corner and with it stick his side into the hat for the next round.

Star man – Lee Minshull (Concord Rangers)
