The Beachboys get right back to league action tonight as the lads travel to Chippenham Town in their latest Vanarama National League South fixture.
This is a rearranged fixture, the original game was scheduled to take place on Saturday 11th January but was moved due to our ongoing progression in the Buildbase FA Trophy.
Concord Rangers head in to the game tonight on the back of 3 consecutive losses over all competitions, falling by a goal to both Bath City and Hemel Hempstead in the league the last two Saturdays, and losing to Dagenham & Redbridge on pens in the Essex Senior Cup a week ago. The Beachboys are looking to get back to winning form tonight, to earn some vital league points and get on to a winning run with an eye on the Trophy fixture this weekend.
The Bluebirds have picked up some form of late, winning two of their last three league fixtures, including victories away at Hemel Hempstead and at home to Maidstone United. While their most recent fixture may have been a 1-0 loss to Welling this past Saturday, Chippenham are slowly climbing their way out of the drop zone (where they sit on goal difference at present, as one of 4 teams on 32 points).
Earlier this season when the two sides last met, it was The Bluebirds who were victorious at The Aspect Arena, winning 1-0 on October 12th. Chippenham took the lions share of the points last season as well, as while it was a 1-1 draw when Concord Rangers hosted the tie, Chippenham dominated their home fixture and won 4-1.
Kickoff tonight is at 7:45pm at Hardenhuish Park, admission is £13 for Adults, £9 for Senior Citizens, £3 for Juniors (U18), Students and Armed Forces Personnel with a Valid ID Card are £9, and Under 16s are FREE when accompanied with a Paying Adult
