CONCORD will look to move into the top half of the table with a positive result at home to high-flying Basingstoke Town today.

Both sides progressed in the FA Cup with 2-0 midweek wins but it will be three Vanarama South points on offer at the Aspect Arena this afternoon.

The Beachboys saw off Wealdstone in the cup on Tuesday and an injury to keeper Jamie Butler has led to manager Danny Cowley drafting in cover in the shape of Aaron Lennox (pictured) on loan from QPR’s Under-21s side.

Town start the weekend third in the table and six points ahead of 12th-placed Concord.

The Stoke beat Bridgewater Town in the cup this week and their last league outing was a 2-1 win at home to Boreham Wood.

Kick-off at the Aspect Arena is at 3pm and new fans are always guaranteed a warm reception (as are the old ones!).
