Concord were flying having pipped the lofty St Albans with a injury time winner via loanee Dion Sembie-Ferris striking home powerfully past the hapless James Russell.
The hosts were sharp out the traps and club veteran Steve King headed them in front with a powerful effort direct from a corner.
The lead was deservedly doubled as Jordan Chiedozie made a marauding run, and a link up with Amos Nasha set up Sembie-Ferris who struck well through the legs of Russell.
Concord were very dominant throughout the first half and a phenomenal work rate twice almost yielded a third with both chances being saved by Russell.
King thought he’d added a third early in the second half, as another strong header hit the net but it was ruled out for an earlier foul.
Visiting Saints grew into the second half and came close as Louis Theophanous struck well drawing an excellent save by Bailey Vose.
They reduced the arrears as substitute Shaun Lucien’s low right footed effort nestled inside the bottom left corner.
The scores were levelled in spectacular fashion as right back Ben Herd ghosted onto a loose ball before striking a looping half-volley which flew in the far corner sending the St Albans fans wild.
But there was still a twist to the tale as Concord went on to take a deserving three points after the tricky Jordan Chiedozie set up Sembie-Ferris for the barnstormer finish.
