CONCORD will have to put Tuesday’s big FA Cup date to the back of their minds when they host Vanarama South leaders Boreham Wood on Saturday.

The Beachboys will go to Mansfield Town on Tuesday after the first round proper tie was postponed last weekend because of a water-logged pitch. The winners now know they have a trip to Cambridge United in the next round.

But first it is the visit of table-topping Wood, and their manager Ian Allinson knows Danny Cowley will have his side totally focused on this fixture.

Allinson told the Wood club website: ?Concord will go about their business totally unfazed .

“They are a tight knit bunch and it would make no difference to them if they were playing Manchester United on Tuesday.”

Wood’s keeper is ex-Canvey Island hero James Russell, and Concord are likely to give a debut to another former Gulls custodian, Josh Vickers, who is in on loan from the Arsenal Academy.

Kick off at the Aspect Arena is at 3pm, and supporters will get the chance to buy tickets for the Mansfield game or put their names down for coach travel to Field Mill.
