The next fixture in Concord Rangers 2017/18 Vanarama National League South campaign is away against Eastbourne Borough this coming Tuesday night.

The Sports, as they’re known, are currently sitting in the top half of the table in 9th spot, enjoying a points total of 12 going in to Tuesdays fixture. This past weekend they were able to gain their second win on the bounce with a 4-2 victory at home against NLS new boys Chippenham Town, with the win prior to that coming on Bank Holiday Monday against Bognor Regis Town, winning 1-0.

Concord Rangers are on a contrasting run right now, having dropped to 20th spot in the National League South after their 2-0 loss away at Hungerford Town this past weekend. Prior to that, The Beach Boys were on the wrong end of a 2-0 scoreline at home to Chelmsford City on Bank Holiday Monday, and a 2-1 result away at St Albans City the Saturday before.

The last time these two sides met was on February 11th 2017 at Thames Road when goals from Tony Stokes (2) and Steve King gave The Beach Boys a 3-1 win over The Sports.
