After 20 minutes some
poor defending by Concord allowed Romford's Kurt Smith to give them the lead.
Concord went two
nil down when Romford's substitute Toran Sengayore scored after Concord's Keeper Dale Brightly had made two good saves but could not keep out the third effort.
Concord's Steve King pulled a
goal back on the hour and then Romford had James Gammons sent off after 64 minutes for a foul
on Michael Begg who had to be taken off with the injury sustained in the high challenge by Gammons.
Romford
went 3 - 1 in front after Dale Brightly brought down Kurt Smith in the area, Smith got up and struck home the penalty.
Concord made it an exciting finish when Joao Carlos who had come on for Liam Hopkins earlier in the half scored
Concord's second but they could not add to the score.

We turned up at Tilbury FC and the pitch
resembled a ploughed field where the Tilbury Chairman had run the tractor across the pitch and created
tractor marks and mud divots to about 80% of the playing surface and making it impossible to play any quality football.
In the 23rd minute Paul Shave who had recently transfered from Tilbury ran through the Tilbury defence and played
a good ball to Kayan Kalipha who received the ball swivelled and placed a good shot round Andy Hall in the Tilbury
Goal to put Concord one nil up.
After 63 minutes the Referee Neil Baker gave Tilbury a corner when clearly
it should have been a goalkick as the ball was headed out by Tilbury's Glen Golby and from the corner the ball fell
to Paul Shave who tried to clear but the ball hit Concord's Liam Hopkins and bounced of his leg into the net
for an own goal for Tilbury's equaliser.
It was a disappointing afternoon as the Concord lads worked
very hard on the terrible pitch but were not able to produce the football that has been acheived lately.

A first half
hat-trick from Concord's Dave Collins sent Lowestoft to their first away defeat of the season. Collins
scored his first ever hat-trick at senior level with his goals coming in the 2nd, 31st and 35th minute.
Concord playing some great football against a Lowestoft side who have been favourites to win
the league almost since the season started.
After losing to Lowestoft 5 - 0 way back in August it was sweet
revenge as Concord hit home two more goals through Paul Shave and Lyle Taylor to go level on points at the top
of the League with Lowestoft.

In an evenly matched first half Concord finally got the breakthrough in the 38th Minute when Michael Begg hit the
ball over his head and Paul Shave making his debut ran through to head his first goal for the club.
Just after half time Lyle Taylor latched onto a ball eight yards out and fired home for Concords 2nd goal.
In the 75th minute Concords, Dave Collins was unfortunate to be sent off when it looked like he accidently
caught a Brentwood player with his arm when clearing, Referee Adam Crysell sent him off for elbowing the Brentwood
player after consuting his assistant Anthony Pope.

Both teams were on 57points going into this game and placed 2nd and 3rd in the League, Concord went in front with a
brilliantly taken effort by Lyle Taylor when he fired in a great shot in the 36th minute, the shot flew into the
top left hand corner of the net giving Steve Northwood in the Thamesmead goal no chance.
Thamesmead came
out in the second half fired up and they soon scored when Andy Constable picked up a through ball and rounded Dale
Brightly Concords Keeper to score the equaliser.
Skipper Nicky Cowley coming back into Concords side after missing
two matches with flu scored the second goal for Concord after 52 minutes tapping home at the far post.
In the 59th minute the Referee, Jake Hillier who had an excellent game gave Concord a penalty for a trip on Danny
Heale, Danny Glozier hit home the penalty to score Concords third.
Lyle Taylor was sent off in the 65th minute
when the Referee judged the tackle by Lyle to be over the ball and into Junior Bakers shin

Concord had four key players missing for this important game, Nick Skelton, John Easterford and Danny Glozier
were all injured and Skipper Nicky Cowley was suffering from flu and unable to play.
In the 8th minute Concord
took the lead when Dave Collins placed a perfect free kick onto the head of Steve King who headed down to Kayan
Kalipha who fired home an excellent shot from 18 yards out .
Just on the brink of half time the referee,
Peter Georgiou gave a Ilford a free kick which few people at the game could not understand why and from the kick
Ilford's Anthony Trice headed home the equaliser.
On a pitch which was not ideal for good football Concord
struggled to find any consistency on the night and due to the conditions it was one of Concords
worst performances of the season but when all thought it was going to be a draw and two minutes into added time, Lee
Williams fired home the winner for Concord to take them into 2nd spot in the League.
Undoubtedly the hero on the
night was Steve King who battled on for over an hour with a nasty leg injury.

Concord's second was a well judged header by Steve King from Man of the Match, Lyle Taylor's corner. Concord have now gone into 2nd spot in the League.

Taylor Sinfield came off the subs bench as early as the 15th minute when Sam Taylor injured his knee making a tackle and it took a while for Concord to settle
after this, during this time Brentwood equalised in the 34th minute from a Darren Blewitt header.
13 minutes into the second half Steve King scored against his former club when he rose to head home a Dave

It took Concord 29 minutes to score their first goal when Lyle Taylor took a corner, the ball bobbled
around the Wakering six yard box and Michael Begg took advantage of the situation and fired home.
Michael
Begg scored the second Concord goal when again following a corner he fired in a left shot leaving Louis Godwin-Green
no chance in the Wakering goal.
In the 61st minute Steve King scored the third Concord goal, Dave Collins
sent in an inch perfect cross from the left which Steve King made no mistake from just three yards out, this was

In this Boxing Day fixture against Local rivals Great Wakering, Concord
were the better side for most of the match and after squandering some chances early on, John Easterford headed home Concord's
first goal latching onto Dave Collins acurately placed corner in the 38th minute.
Just three minutes later
Concord increased their lead when Ross Wall fired home from eight yards to make it 2 - 0 going into the half time break.
In the 48th minute Wakering pulled a goal back when Neil Richmond sent in a cross after collecting the ball
from a poor Concord clearence for Ben Hudson to tap home.
In the 74th minute Dave Collins sent
in a great free kick for Steve King to head home the third goal, this was Steve's third goal in three games,

Concord expected a tough game against Thamesmead Town lying 2nd in the league
and that is exactly how it turned out.
Thamesmead always looked dangerous on the break with front runners Constable
and Cable looking liable to score once they approached Concords 18 yard box, but it was Concord who was contributing
themselves to a good game of football who scored right on half time when Steve King rose above all around
him to head Dave Collins corner into the net.
Going into the second half Concord started to look the better side
and could have gone further ahead but for a strange referee's decision to disallow what looked a perfect
goal by Kayan Kalipha making his return to Concord. This was the turning point because shortly after Thamesmead scored
the equaliser through Lea Dawson in the 70th minute.
With just a minute left on the watch a harmless
looking cross went through the Concord defenders and Ricky Cable left on his own at the far post only
had to tap the ball into the goal for Thamesmead's winner.

Having lost recent signing Clydie Roberts in the warm up through a knee injury, another
new signing Ashley Miller was drafted in and it was Ashley who set up Concord's first goal when he went round two Wingate
defenders and then crossed for Michael Begg to score low into the corner of the net after 25 minutes.
Four minutes later Wingate's bustling front runner Leon Smith latched onto a through pass and cooly shot
past Concord keeper, Dale Brightly for the equaliser.
Three minutes into the second half top scorer
Lyle Taylor collected a pass outwide on the left and powered onto the edge of Wingate's box
and hammered a shot past Wingate keeper Gavin King to restore Concord's lead.
In the 71st minute
Wingate were awarded a penalty after Concord defender Nick Skelton had been judged to have brought down a Wingate forward
by Referee Tom Ramsey, Wingate's No 4 Jordan Fowler stepped up and scored from the spot.
We
all thought the game was heading for a draw when in the second minute of added time, Taylor Sinfield who had come off

to Danny Heale to head home the winner.

Steve King making his debut for Concord equalised with a free kick in the 78th minute and the odds were stacked
against Concord when Skipper Nicky Cowley was sent off for an offence when challenging Luke Dodd the Cheshunt Keeper

After reaching the final last season it was disappointing for us to lose in our second game

We gave a very simple goal away, which has become a bit of a habit lately, James
Abbo Maldon's number 8 took full advantage of a poor clearence to score from 30 yards out and put Maldon 1 - 0 in
front.
Although Concord hit the woodwork a few times during the game it was Maldon who went further ahead
when they scored a second goal in the 64th minute.
Lyle Taylor who had come off the bench to replace John
