28/04/08 - CHAMPIONS !!!!!!!!
We have done it , 32 gruelling league fixtures and finally Rangers can say that WE ARE THE BEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE. Huge
congratulations to the players and all the staff at the club. Thanks too to the supporters who turned up to see us lift the
title. We're on our way to Ryman Division 1 North
17/3/08 - COACH TRAVEL TO CUP FINAL THIS SATURDAY
The club will be taking supporters to the Gordon Brasted Trophy Final this Saturday which is being played
at Leslie Field, home of Burnham Ramblers FC. Any one wanting to travel from the club by coach should either phone the club

14/03/08 - LEWIS & FAULKNER ON BOARD
The club are pleased to announce a further 2 signings to bolster the numbers in the squad. Beaumont Athletic
captain Antoine Lewis joins and as does former Aveley,Chelmsford City and East Thurrock defender Wes Faulkner.
Welcome to the club to both players.
07/03/08 - 2 MORE SIGNINGS BOLSTER SQUAD
The club secured the services of another 2 quality players last night in the shape of Amos Foyewa and Greg
Tiffin.
27 year old Amos comes to Concord with an impressive array of clubs under his belt. He started out at West
Ham before signing for AFC Bournemouth in 2001. He has since moved into Non League with spells at Lewes, Woking, AFC Hornchurch
and Welling United. He has also played for the England Non League team.
Greg played for Leyton Orient as a youngster before moving to AFC Hornchurch in 2005. He won the Essex Senior
League "Treble" before being one of many players to leave the club to join Brentwood Town , where the following season he
captured his second hat trick of winners medals. Greg has not played football this season due to working abroad but has maintained
a good level of fitness.
Both will be in the squad to face Romford tomorrow. Welcome to both players
04/03/08 - PLAYER MOVEMENTS
Rangers have signed 18 year old Defender/Midfielder Harlee Dean on loan from Dagenham & Redbridge until
the end of the season. Also , Gary Ansell , previously duel registered , has now left East Thurrock United and has signed
to the club for the forseeable future.
Goalkeeper Phil Skelton has gone on loan to Aveley FC.
29/02/08 - HAWKINS RETURNS
Ash Hawkins has returned to the club after a short spell with Southern Premier League side Cheshunt.

George Lay has joined the club on loan from Billericay Town. Before joining Billericay George was a prominent
player at Chelmsford City. Welcome to the club.
The club would like to send its best wishes to a former loan player Shane Oakley , who broke his ankle playing

Ash Hawkins has left the club to join Cheshunt FC in the Southern League Premier Division. Everyone at the

12/10/07 - FIRST TEAM GAME TONIGHT, COLLEGE CONTINUE GOOD START
Following Tuesdays postponement at Barking the Essex Senior Cupe 2nd round match will take place tonight,
Friday at 7.45pm at Barking's Mayesbrook Park ground.
The college side continued their unbeaten start to life in the Football Youth Conference League with a
3-3 draw against Dagenham & Redbridge on Wednesday. Please see the college page for a match report
08/10/07 - FA VASE DRAW MADE
After Saturdays win over Hertford Concord will be at HOME to POTTON UNITED who play in the Eagle Bitter United Counties
League. The match will be played on Saturday 17th November.
05/10/07 - Vets get off to winning start, College maintain good run
Manager Steve Larkin got a winning start to the veterans season with a 4-0 win over Hockley & Hawkwell.

31/8/07 - Under 9's in action this Sunday
The Concord Rangers Under 9's Lions team will be playing in the Canvey tournament this Sunday 2nd September.
The venue is Waterside Sports Centre on Canvey Island and the action kicks off at 2pm.
31/8/07 - Rangers make defensive signing
The club are delighted to welcome Kevin Mully to the club. Kevin signs from East Thurrock United and has
also played for Tilbury.Last season Kevin played a handful of games for Concord on loan. He goes straight
into the squad for the FA Cup tie with Wivenhoe tomorrow.
24/08/07 - Two players leave club
Today , Sam Lake has been released by the club and has promptly signed for Southend Manor FC.
Also leaving the club is popular front man Hughie Ashman. Hugh has joined Redbridge FC of Ryman Division
1. Good luck to both Sam & Hughie.
23/08/07- Another New Face
Following the arrival of Richard Bastin from Chelmsford City , the club have made a further signing in the
goalkeeping department with the arrival of Phil Skelton from Brentwood Town. Phil will fight it out with Rich for the number
1 jersey.
22/08/07 - New Signing
The club have moved swiftly to replace injured Michael Collier in goal. Joining from Chelmsford City is
Richard Bastin. Richard made an assured debut in last nights league cup win over Beaumont Athletic. Welcome Richard.

The club are delighted to announce they have a new sponsor which will go on the back of the first team home and away
shirts this season in the shape of Brockwell & Sons Ltd Civil Engineering.

The draw for the Essex Thamesside Trophy saw Rangers paired with Ryman Division 1 North side CANVEY ISLAND

THE LEAGUE FIXTURES ARE OUT !!!!
Our first match sees us take on Sawbridgeworth Town at home , who coincidentally , visited us on the last day of last season.
Last season we drew 2-2 at Sawbo and won 1-0 at Thames Road so another even encounter is on the cards.

26/07/07 - FIXTURE CHANGE THIS SATURDAY !!
The first team fixture this Saturday at Buntingford Town has been CANCELLED. This due to problems with the
availability of the Buntingford pitch .
The first team will still be in action this Saturday 28th July , playing a Chelmsford City XI at 3.00pm. The reserves ,
who were scheduled to play this fixture, will now play at 12.00 pm against Great Wakering Rovers reserves.
11/7/07- More New Signings.....
The club have announced two more new signings to add to an impressive squad for the forthcoming season .
Stuart Williams joins from East Thurrock United. Willo , who came on loan to us during last season played his early years
at Southend United and made himself a regular at reserve team level. Following his release Stuart went to East Thurrock
United and after some good performances for us during his loan spell he has now joined permanently.
The second signing is Chris Stowe. Chris has played for Hampton & Richmond,Hornchurch and most recently
Billericay Town and has scored goals wherever he has been. He will provide some tough competition up front.
Some players have left since the end of the season . Ollie Baker has been released along with Gareth Thomas
and Rob Budd. Michael Hart has gone on trial to Ryman Premier side East Thurrock United. We wish them all the best and thank
them for their efforts for the club.

04/07/07 - Bar Opening times for Friendly vs AFC Hornchurch
The bar will be opening at 12pm on Saturday 14th July for our first pre-season friendly against Ryman Premier
outfit AFC Hornchurch . The food bar will be open from 1pm.

02/07/07 - FA Vase draw made
The qualifying rounds of the Fa Vase were drawn today . Rangers will take on London Colney in the first qualifying round on September 8th at Thames Road . The winners of the tie will face Oxhey Jets at home
in the next round.
28/06/07 - FA CUP DRAW REVEALED
We enter the FA Cup at the Extra Preliminary Qualifying Round this year and we have been drawn away to Biggleswade Town . They finished 18th in the Spartan Southern Midlands league last year . The tie will be played on the 18th August

25/06/07 - New Reserves Management
The Concord reserve team will have a new management team for this season. The new man in charge will be
Greg Briggs. Greg , 29, works for Southend college and has first team playing experience for both Concord and Bowers &
Pitsea , where he played under Rangers current first team assistant manager Dean Wells. Greg has hung up his boots now
and takes on his first senior management role . Everyone wishes Greg the very best in his new role . He will be assisted by
Dean Russell , who had the same role last season and there is a new physio in the shape of Gavin Etheridge. Good luck
to all for a hopefully exciting season ahead.

Rangers have been drawn against big spending Burnham Ramblers , young and improving Hullbridge Sports and
Beamont Athletic .

07/06/07 - NEW SIGNINGS ANNOUNCED
Concord Rangers are delighted to announce some major new signings in our push for promotion for season 2007/2008.
Nicky Cowley joins from Brentwood Town where he captained the side and scored 20 goals from midfield in
helping them to acheive a league and cup treble . Also signing from Brentwood is pacy forward Michael Begg . Begg joined Brentwood
half way through last season from Great Wakering Rovers where he had scored 5 goals in 12 games . He went on to score
a further 9 times for Town last season .
Making up a trio of new faces is Danny Hayzledean from East Thurrock United. Danny has previously played
for Dagenham and Redbridge and Grays Athletic and is at home on either flank and will bring valuable experience to the side.
To add to the good news last seasons 36 goal top scorer Danny Heale has announced he has re-signed for the
coming season . Canvey Island were rumoured to be interested but their changing rooms werent big enough to accomodate Healesys
massive nose .
MANAGEMENT TRIO UNVEILED
Today Rangers unveiled the management trio they hope will lead them to the Ryman League next year . Taking
over the reins will be Danny Scopes, Dean Wells and Danny Cowley .
Danny Scopes takes over as player/manager. He has a distinguished career at senior league and Ryman League
level . He captained Great Wakering Rovers for 4 years making 361 appearances . Since leaving Rovers Dan has played at Southend
Manor , Tilbury and then joined Concord in September 2006 where he took over the captaincy . Dan will continue to play
for as long as his legs will carry him !
Dean Wells steps up having been the first team coach last season . Dean has a wealth of experience and has
had managing stints at Great Wakering Rovers reserves and Bowers & Pitsea. Dean also manages the highly successful South
East Essex college side and has brought a vast number of players through to first team level at various clubs.
Making up the trio is Danny Cowley . Dan joins from Brentwood Town where he spent the season on the sidelines
due to a long term injury . Danny played a pivotal role in securing a return to the Ryman League for AFC Hornchurch in 2005/2006
winning the league championship and the league cup and Gordon Brasted Memorial Trophy . Danny is a PE teacher at Fitzwimarc
school in Rayleigh which has excelled in sporting achievements in the last few years .
