Ahead of tomorrow’s match away to St Albans, we spoke to our Young, Promising and talented Full back, Jed Smith to get his views on Last week’s game at home to Woking and his thoughts about tomorrow’s game, take a read of what the Beachboy had to say!

What did you make of the performance against Woking on Saturday?

First half vs Woking we were good but we knew that going into the second half we had a lot more to show. Second half we knew what we needed to do to get something from the game and from the start of the second half we had Woking on the back foot. The boys were great! We created chances to win the game but unfortunately we come away with a point which I think everyone was happy with.

How did it feel to play a big role in the game and coming away with a point?

It felt great to come on 1-0 down just before half time and finish the game with a draw against top of the league. We knew that Sean had a slight injury before the game so I was told to stay ready incase I was needed at anytime. I’m just happy to be getting minutes and a chance to show what I can do.

Looking ahead to St Albans, is it going to be a thought test?

Every team in this league is going to be difficult but if we play like we did in the first few games of the season and the second half vs Woking we can cause trouble to anybody in the league. I know there is a few familiar faces from our Concord squad last year over there so it be good to see them but I feel it will be a great game which I’m looking forward to.

Thankyou to Jed for taking the time to answer our questions, best of luck tomorrow afternoon!
