CONCORD lost 3-1 at rivals Bishop?s Stortford after the hosts claimed a disputed second goal.

The Beachboys felt Anthony Church was offside when he put Stortford 2-0 up on 28 minutes but the officials disagreed and the goal stood.

Ex-Canvey winger Sheldon Sellears gave Stortford a 20th minute lead with a soft goal from a free-kick and Concord captain Tony Stokes came off the bench and got a late consolation.

Lewis Taaffe hit the post early on for Rangers but it was not their day and they must now regroup ahead of the Boxing Day visit of Vanarama South rivals Bromley, who are second in the table.
