CONCORD suffered a deserved and lacklustre Vanarama South defeat at the Saints.
John Frendo had headed against the crossbar and Michael Malcolm put the follow up in the net but it was ruled out for offside.
But Malcolm did get a debut goal on 13 minutes when he latched on to Frendo’s through ball and finished coolly.
And the hosts went 2-0 up on 32 minutes when Matt Fry fouled Jamal Lowe and Frendo scored the resulting penalty for his 15th goal of the season.
Concord improved after the break but their keeper Josh Vickers had to save another penalty from Frendo on 66 minutes after he was fouled in the box by Sam Collins.
