Concord Rangers are delighted to announce Kian Ward as our new media manager heading into the 2020/2021 National League South Season. Kian joins us having worked for fellow National League South team Dartford FC last season and can often be found helping to cover the Dartford FC Women on Sundays, he’s most recently spent time at Isthmian South East side Herne Bay FC where he had been since April, where he helped launch the clubs new YouTube channel HBFC-TV which has gained thousands of views and helped increase the overall awareness of the Kent coast side. As well as a new YouTube channel he also helped launch a new online commentary service for the Bay which gained great reviews from those fans not at games. He brings a great level of experience, professionalism and ideas to Concord which over the course of the next 12 months we will see help to develop the club’s online presence.

On his arrival Kian had this to say: ‘I’m thrilled to be joining Concord Rangers a club that’s only going in one direction and that is up! It’s great to be trusted with the club’s media and I hope to build on the excellent work done here by the likes of Alfie Gates and Euan Rourke. With the club’s trip to Wembley coming anytime now it is important that we have a media output to match the ambitions of our football club. I want us to be up there as one of the best media teams in Non-League football with the likes of Dorking, Dulwich and Fylde but making sure we add our own bit of Concord flair! I’m excited to be bringing Tom Day along with me, Tom is one of the best graphic designers around and spent last season at Chichester City. I am looking forward to meeting all our fans when it is safe to do so and hopefully this is that start of a very successful year for the club!
