Today Concord Rangers welcome Bath City to the Aspect Arena in their latest Vanarama National League South encounter.

City come to Concord today on the back of a result to forget last Saturday, when they hosted league leaders Maidenhead United and were beaten 5-1 on the day. This was Baths third loss in a row, having lost by a goal to both Wealdstone and Gosport Borough, however prior to that they’d won 3 on the bounce, and will be looking to get back to that today. With 5 games left in the season, 9th place Bath City are out of the playoff race, but that doesn’t mean they have nothing to play for, finishing strong and as high up the league as possible will be their priority now.

The Beachboys will be looking to get right back to winning ways here at the Aspect Arena today after suffering a 2-1 defeat away at Poole Town last Saturday afternoon. Results around Concord went well though, meaning that we remain 6 points clear of the drop zone in 15th place, but with Weston-Super-Mare playing Bishop’s Stortford and Welling playing Gosport Borough today, a win would be massive in the fight for survival. After the last two losses suffered, Concord have responded with a draw, but today the lads will be looking to earn a win and a vital 3 points

The teams last faced each other back on November the 5th, when a Steve Cawley brace helped Concord earn a share of the points in a 2-2 draw, and it may have been a spark the lads needed as the Beachboys went on to win 3 of their next 5 games.
