After a frustrating time Monday night, Concord Rangers return home to the Aspect Arena this Saturday as they host Hemel Hempstead Town.

The Tudors currently sit 10th in the table, 12 points off the playoffs and 20 points from the bottom three, so they are fairly comfortable when it comes to their league position. They hosted Margate last Saturday and were able to earn a 3-2 win, a positive reaction they were desperate for after being hit for 6 the week before at Bath City. Hemel Hempstead will be bringing a couple of familiar faces with them to Concord this coming weekend, those being ‘keeper Jamie Butler, and Ben Greenhalgh who is currently on loan to The Tudors from Maidstone United.

Concord Rangers saw one of the goals of the season scored Monday night from Taylor Miles, but were unable to hold on to the lead and only earned a point in their trip to Wealdstone. That point may still prove to be vital in the coming weeks though as The Beachboys are just 4 points clear of the drop zone thanks to Gosport Borough picking up back to back wins last weekend. The lads will be desperate to pick up points today and move further up the table.

The last time these two sides met was back on Tuesday 25th October, when Hemel Hempstead were able to beat Concord 2-1 at Vauxhall Road, with Steve Cawley scoring the Beachboys only goal. Following the loss, Concord went on a positive run of 2 draws and 2 wins which helped their league position immensely.
