After the Beachboys extended their unbeaten league run to 13 games this past weekend, attentions turn to the BBC Essex Senior Cup this coming Tuesday night with the Quarter Final fixture against East Thurrock United.

Concord Rangers are on a fine run of league form, and are also seemingly scoring for fun in the BBC Essex Senior Cup so far. The lads will be hoping that this continues in Tuesdays fixture. The last result for Concord was a 1-1 draw at home to Dartford on Saturday, and prior to that they earned their place in the Quarter Finals of this competition by beating Aveley 5-0.

East Thurrock United were last in action this past Saturday and lost their second league game in a row as they fell 4-0 away at Braintree Town, having lost to Concord Rangers on New Years Day. The Rocks earned their place in the BBC Essex Senior Cup Quarter Finals by beating Waltham Abbey 3-1 at home in the previous round.

If you wish to travel to Rookery Hill by train, you’ll need to make the short trip from Benfleet to Stanford Le Hope, and then it’s another 8 minutes in a cab from the station.

It’s a short and fairly simple journey by car too when travelling from Concord Island. Head off the island to the A13 and head towards Basildon. Come off the A13 at Five Bells and take the second exit from the first roundabout then head straight on to join the B1420. At the roundabout take the first exit and continue on the B1420/Southend Road. Remain on the B1420 and you’ll eventually reach East Thurrock Football Club on your right. Parking is limited though, so it’s advised to get there early.

Admission prices for the fixture at East Thurrock United are as follows: Adults £6, OAP/Students £3, U16s £1.

Also, a note for the winning team, the draw for the Semi Finals of the BBC Essex Senior Cup will take place this coming Wednesday evening on BBC Essex Radio.
