Another signing for Concord Rangers as Colchester United attacker, Ryan Gondoh, joins on a permanent deal. The 22-year-old made 6 first team appearances for United. Previous teams also include National League side, FC Halifax. Manager, Dan Scopes, and Head of Recruitment, Adam Drew, are thrilled with the new signing, as he heads straight into the matchday squad for the game against Hungerford.
The night before matchday, the Club confirmed new signing, Gondoh. The winger can play in multiple positions across the front three. Dan Scopes stated, “Ryan can play either side of the front three or midfield, he also offers cover as a left back.” Gondoh’s stronger foot is his left, allowing Scopes to have a different option and also to balance out at times. “He is good with the ball at his feet. He is able to look after it well in attacking areas for us, which helps relieve pressure to allows us to build then attack.”
Adam Drew, Head of Recruitment, was very pleased with the signing of the 22-year-old. “I’m delighted. Has so much natural ability. I’ve also seen him score a brilliant hat-trick against a previous team I was involved with.” Drew claims the attacker is very direct, while also having great ability on the ball. “He can produce those magic moments.”
Ryan Gondoh was happy to join the Beach Boys. “To have been given the opportunity from the management to play for this club and showcase my talent, I’m very happy.” Gondah knows a few faces around the club, especially striker, Decarrey Sheriff. The two attackers spent a lot of time together at Colchester United. “I’ve played with couple of the boys previously, I know my time here will be enjoyable.”
“I think with my style of play which is creativity, along with pace and skill will create a lot of goals and hopefully push the team up the league to where we want to be.”
