Tuesday night Concord Rangers will get their 2017/18 BBC Essex Senior Cup journey under way as they welcome Wivenhoe Town to The Aspect Arena.

The Dragons currently play their football in the Eastern Counties League Premier Division, and will be heading in to the game looking to get back to winning ways quickly after suffering a 6-0 loss in the league this past weekend. Wivenhoe earned their place in this fixture having beaten Burnham Ramblers 2-1 at home in the Second Round of the competition.

Concord Rangers have lost just once in their last 10 games, and that was only after extra time, so some could say they are unbeaten in 10 games over 90 minutes. The last two games Concord Rangers have played ended in 1-1 draws, first it was away at Poole Town last Tuesday, and more recently at home to Gloucester City this past Saturday.

The BBC Essex Senior Cup is a competition the club have had significant success in over the last four seasons, and we hope to see as many of you as possible at The Aspect Arena this Tuesday night cheering on the lads as they look to kickstart another decent cup run.
