Welcome to View From The Opposition. This is our website feature that we will be putting out every week ahead of our upcoming matches this season. Tomorrow evening sees the Beachboys hosting Dartford at the Aspect Arena to take on Dartford for our 4th Vanarama National League South game of the season and we’ve got one fan interview for you all to read.

The darts, Co- managed by former Concord Rangers Manager, Adam Flanagan has two familiar names in the squad to many Beachboys that being Billy Roast and Ben Greenhalgh, having got off to a good start gaining six points out of six against Bath and Chelmsford, the darts weren’t able to make it nine points out of nine on Saturday afternoon as it finished all square at Princes Park stadium where they hosted Hemel Hempstead, a game that was well contested.

While Adam, Billy and Ben went south of the Dartford tunnel, one did however come the other way, Ryan Hayes, having impressed the Beachboys faithful in his early stages for us he’s named as a ‘Dartford Legend’ to many of his former clubs fans, racking up over 580 appearances over 13 years at the club, something certainly to be proud of…

We spoke with Darts fan, Mitchell Lipscombe to find out a little more about the club:

1 – What has it been like supporting Dartford over the last few years?

It’s been a roller-coaster with the ups and the downs. But this is non league and that’s why I love it.

2- How Do Think Pre-Season Went For The Club?

Pre-season has been decent, minus the Millwall match I believe we have been very solid especially with a new bunch of lads coming in and a lot of last season players leaving.

3 – What Are Your Hopes For The Season Ahead?

At the start I said top 7 so play offs but after the solid start I have a much better feeling that we can go on and achieve the title along side tonight’s opponents Concord Rangers.

4 – Who are the key players that we should be looking out for this Saturday?

I believe the players to watch are whatever our starting 11 is, it’s to hard to pick and whoever comes off the bench the team are so strong it’s hard just to pick 2-3 individual players.

5 – What Is Your Predicting Starting 11 For The Game?

My starting 11 would be Deren Ibrahim, Callum driver,Mark Onyemah,Ronnie Vint,Tom Bonner (C), Lee Noble, Ben Greenhalgh, Chez Isaac, Elliot Bradbrook, Tom Murphy, Deleno Sam-Yorke with the bench being Billy Roast, Manny Igahore, Alfie Cue, Jamie Philpot, Simon Mensah.

We would like to thank Mitchell for being the contributor to this feature that we will be posting ahead of every Concord game this season. We would also like to wish him and all of the Dartford fans all the best this season.
