This coming Saturday Concord Rangers will return to league action as the lads travel to Welling United in the Vanarama National League South

The Wings currently sit 3rd in the National League South, and will be heading into the game on Saturday having won their last game 2-1 away at fellow high flyers St Albans City. Welling are sitting atop the form table too, having lost just once in their last ten games, winning seven of the last eight, and they will be looking to maintain that run this coming Saturday.

Concord Rangers have drawn their last 6 league matches, with each point proving vital as they edged out of the bottom three last weekend with the 1-1 draw at home to Gloucester City. The Beachboys will be high on confidence though having earned an emphatic 6-0 win this past Tuesday night in the BBC Essex Senior Cup at home against Wivenhoe Town. A win on Saturday won’t move the side any higher in the league, but it can create a bit of much needed space between themselves and the drop zone.

Admission prices for the game this weekend are as follows: Adults £12.00, Concessions £8.00, 12-17 Year Olds inclusive £5.00, Under 12s (when accompanied by an Adult) FREE, and seating is £2.00 extra.

To get there by road, head to the M25 via the A13 or A127 (whichever is your preferred choice), then head clockwise and across the Dartford Bridge. Leave the motorway at junction 2, and the roundabout, take the A2 towards Central London. Leave the A2 at the third exit (Danson Interchange, signposted A221 to Bexleyheath and Sidcup).Turn right (second exit) at the roundabout at the end of the slip road, and then turn right (third exit) at the next roundabout. Go under the A2 bridge and up the slope to another roundabout. Take the second exit and follow the road (Danson Road) to the traffic lights at the end. Turn left at the lights onto Park View Road. The ground is on the left. There is no car park, but plenty of street parking is available.

By rail getting to the ground is simple, but you do have to go into London to then come back out. Welling is the nearest station and is a 15/20 minute walk from the stadium, but it is a fairly straight and easy walk when you hit the main road. Welling is served by regular Southeastern-run trains out of London Victoria, Charing Cross and London Bridge, and it’s about a 25 minute journey.
