Concord Rangers will be looking to return to winning ways in rapid fashion this coming Saturday as they host Eastbourne Borough in their latest Vanarama National League South fixture.
The Beachboys head into the fixture this weekend having had their 13 game unbeaten run ended in cruel fashion last Saturday as they lost 2-0 away at Bath City. It was a long journey down to Twerton Park, made longer on the way home by that result. Although no points were gained though, Concord remain in 16th spot in the league, 7 points clear of the dreaded bottom three.
The Sports had a slightly more productive time in their last fixture on Saturday, as they hosted St Albans City. The sides played out a 1-1 draw, and that point, along with the Beachboys failure to gain a point, helped Eastbourne Borough stay one place above Concord in the table on 30 points.
The last time our two sides met was back on September 5th 2017 when The Sports were able to beat Concord Rangers by 3 goals to 1, Steve Cawley grabbing the Beachboys consolation goal.
