This Tuesday night sees us back on the road as we travel to our friends at Folkestone Invicta for our 5th pre-season friendly at The Fullicks Stadium as part of our upcoming preparations for the 2018/19 Vanarama National League South campaign.
We also come into this game following a 3-2 defeat to Leyton Orient on Saturday whilst the Invicta come into this off a 3-2 defeat at Ramsgate on Saturday.
The Invicta finished 4th in their 2nd season as members of the Isthmian Bostik Premier division and they will be looking to continue their fine league form this season.
Admission for the game is set at £5 Adults and Free for Under 12’s and kick-off is at 7.45pm
Driving from Concord Island can take anything from 1 hour 20- 1 hour 50 minutes where it involves using the A130, A13 and A282 upto the M25. Follow signs for Dover/M20/Channel Tunnel/M23 and then carry on upto the exit onto the M20. Get to Junction 13 and then take the A20 exit to Folkestone. Follow the A2034 to the ground.
For public transport, it involves using the C2C line to West Ham where you will need to change for the DLR to Stratford International. Its then best to get the Southeastern line to Ramsgate which will take 45 minutes and you will need to get off at Folkestone West with an 8 minute walk from the station to the ground.
To get back home to Concord Island, you will need to get the 11:02pm train back to Stratford International which terminates at St Pancras International. From there, you can change for the C2C line at Stratford which will get you back to Benfleet by 1.15am.
