After two seasons with Concord Rangers, Chris Haigh departs the club to join National League South and full-time side, Ebbsfleet United.

The goalkeeper played a vital role in the club’s historic FA Trophy run which saw the Beach Boys narrowly lose to League Two outfit, Harrogate Town. In the close encounter, Haigh put in an impressive Man of the Match performance.

How have you enjoyed your time at Concord Rangers?

“I can honestly say it’s the most I’ve enjoyed my football! Concord backed me and gave me confidence to show what I can do ??. “

What was the team morale like and the spirit around the club throughout your two years?

“I think everybody in the league knows that the Beach Boys are built on team spirit and it is one of the biggest factors why we had success.

“It was a brilliant dressing room.”

Is this the best club you’ve played at so far? If so why?

“Definitely, it’s the most I’ve enjoyed my football and I think that means there’s a good chance you’ll play your best football.”

What are you best moments at the club?

“There has been so many good memories at this great club. Player of the Year in my first season, all those penalty saves, getting Man of the Match at Wembley in the final. There are too many to count!

“I just want to say thank you to everybody at the club. The fans, the manager, staff & the board.

“I’ve loved every minute of being a Concord player and I’ll always be a Beach Boy ??.”
