Chris Search

First Team Manager

Following the unexpected departure of his predecessor, Chris made the jump from U18s gaffer to first team manager in May 2021. Searchy had been in charge of his youth side since he merged his Hawkwell side with a Leighwood side ahead of going into 9 a side football, they won 3 league titles in a row before joining Concord as an U15 side. Searchy brought that side up through the U18s, and despite 2 seasons ended prematurely due to the pandemic, saw a lot of league success. As a player Chris was a bit of a non league journeyman, highlighted by a 2 year spell at Basildon United. Searchy knows the Concord DNA, and will be sure to bring that to his role as first team manager this season.

Danny Green

Assistant First Team Manager

Brought in as Searchy’s number 2, the former winger originally joined the Beachboys as a player in the summer of 2018 as one of many new faces brought to the club during that time. Green started his career coming through the youth system at Charlton, and spent his early years in the game at Northampton Town, Nottingham Forest and then Bishop’s Stortford during 2008/09. Danny spent the next 8 years in Leagues One and Two with stints with Dagenham & Redbridge, Charlton, MK Dons and Luton Town, before a double leg break prevented him from taking any part in the 2016/17 season. After playing for local rivals Chelmsford City, Danny brought a wealth of experience to the side and he’s now taken on a new role as assistant manager for the new season.
