Vanarama National League South
Concord Rangers 1
Hosting Concord Rangers extend their unbeaten league run to 13 games with a hard fought draw with leaders Dartford.
The Darts were sharp out the blocks and were awarded a penalty when Lewis Knight brought down Danny Mills. Skipper Elliott Bradbrook took the spot kick and saw it saved by Louis Wells low to his right.
But it was Concord who took the lead. Ben Greenhalgh with possession on the right, cut inside and struck low which Deren Ibrahim could only parry into the path of Steve Cawley who took full advantage of his fortune.
Mark Onyemah almost levelled terms with a creative punted effort from outside the box, dipping and hitting the post.
Greenhalgh came within a whisker of doubling the lead direct from a free kick, swinging it over the wall and crashing against the post to gift Dartford a lifeline.
The visitors did eventually get a deserved equaliser though, capitalising on a defensive error, Ryan Hayes was found in space and struck a rocket going in off the crossbar.
The Darts pressed for a winner but it was the Beachboys who had the best chance to snatch the points. The ball was set to Amos Nasha who saw his right footed effort beat Ibrahim, clattering against the crossbar and cleared away to safety.
