Vanarama National League South
Concord Rangers 1
Havant & Waterlooville 1
A point apiece it was in a closely contested game between the lowly Beachboys and visiting Hawks.
Concord were quick off the mark and opened the scoring through captain Steve Cawley. A near post corner was flicked over and beyond the watchful eye of custodian Ryan Young into the far corner.
The lead was short lived though as Jason Prior was on hand to head home a solid equaliser at the back post.
Concord had a host of chances go to waste shy of half time as Khale Da Costa saw his shot blocked after travelling half the pitch and Jordan Cox made a mess of a good opportunity.
Havant were much improved for the second half and saw a number of good headed chances miss the target. As the game entered the later stages it could have been anyone’s game as Concord pressed for a winner late on but were held to a draw.
