Vanarama National League South
Concord Rangers 0
Concord go into today’s game with a weakened XI with the suspended duo Jack Cawley & Krashnic Kresniqi plus the absent Lamar Reynolds making way for Percy Kiangebeni, Marcel Barrington and Al-Hafeez Sanusi, as Dartford missing Lee Noble and Adam Cunnington seeing Darren McQueen and Rob Howard come in to start.
The Darts were sharpest to every ball early on as it showed as they took the lead. Ryan Hayes causing issues down the right, struck straight at Chris Haigh and it was Charlie Sheringham who reacted quickest to tuck home the rebound.
It was two before to long, when non league veteran Alex Flisher ghosted up the left before striking a low left footer inside the post.
Waves of arms went up as the visitors thought they’d scored a third, but for linesman and referee to agree it failed to fully cross the line before Concord attempted a meek late half comeback, but causing little concern for the Dartford defence.
Concord were equally as disappointing in the second half as they failed to take the game to their opposition allowing the Darts space to create and test Chris Haigh on numerous occasions. The Beachboys did have the ball in the net once but for it to be ruled out for Decarrey Sheriff being marginally offside.
A bad day at the office for the hosts as Dartford picked up their first win on the road at their expense.
