Att – 202, HT – 0-4

Concord Rangers are fighting for their National League South survival, but it didn’t appear that way at The Aspect Arena today. The Beachboys struggled to get out of their own half, and paid for it on 14 minutes when Watkins rounded the advancing Bailey Vose and slotted into an empty Rangers net. Bath City doubled their lead 10 minutes later when Chas Hemmings let loose a shot from 25 yards that bounced over the line off the underside of the bar.

It didn’t get any better for the Beachboys on 40 minutes when Lyle Della-Verde gave away a penalty, which City’s Axel Andresson slammed into the back of the net. Bath City continued to capitalise on the poor Concord performance when Shawn McCoulsky easily rounded Taylor McKenzie and beat Vose at his far post on 45 minutes.

The second half saw the Beachboys come out with a bit more determination, but the visitors never looked like conceding, controlling the game for the majority of the second 45. Chances were few and far between for the hosts, with Jordan Chiedozie producing the only shot on target with 15 minutes to go. 3 late subs from Concord failed to significantly affect the game, and City rounded off their victory on 86 minutes when McCoulsky tapped in from just 2 yards out
