Friday night Concord Rangers brought an end to their 2016/17 season with the annual presentation night, and this year the celebration included the incredibly successful treble winning Under 18s side.
The U18s management team of Paul Higgins and Dave Carter addressed the assembled players and families, understandably congratulating them on a superbly successful season, and handed out three key individual awards.
Clubman of the Year went to Mitchell Prosser, Managers Player of the Year went to Sam Carter, and probably the most valued award amongst footballers, Players Player of the Year, went to Jed Smith.
The first team then took the focus, and gaffer Adam Flanagan along with Glen Alzapiedi handed out a total of 5 awards.
Supporters Player of the Year went to defender Rob Girdlestone, who walked away with two awards on the night as he was also voted Players Player of the Year.
For the first time a Young Player of the Year award was handed out, and this was given to Colchester United loanee Ben Wyatt. Steve Cawley picked up the Golden Boot for his goals this season, and he was also presented with the Managers Player of the Year award.
Congratulations to all the award winners, in both the first team and the Under 18s.
