We are delighted to announce the signing of Jayden Randell on a permanent deal from National League outfit, Wealdstone. Euan Rourke spoke to him about becoming a Beach Boy ahead of Saturday’s derby game against Billericay Town.

How does feel to sign for the Beach Boys?

Yeah, feels good looking forward to getting to work with the boys and start trying to climb up the table.

What enticed you to join the club?

I’ve not played as much football as I would like to this season, so my next move was big for me as I need to be playing and concord was the right option, I know a few off the lads already so it just all added up.

A big game today against Billericay, how important is it for the side to win the first game of the New Year?

Yeah, it’s a big game today! I’m sure everyone wants the 3 points we just got to put pressure on them early on and do the right things and hopefully we walk away with the 3 points and move further up the table.

What can we expect to see from you?

Obviously, I’m a defender but I’ll be honest, I’m very passionate player, I don’t like conceding sloppy goals. I’ll give my all every single week for a clean sheet and the three points.
