Whilst Saturdays result wasn’t anything to celebrate, three players were celebrated as they reached their own individual appearance milestones for Concord Rangers.

First up was defensive stalwart Steve King, the defender has been at the heart of the Concord back four for a number of years now, ensuring the side gained a number of clean sheets, contributing a couple of goals here and there (mainly headers), and this season has managed to make his 300th appearance for the club. Kingy can be seen in the picture below receiving his commemorative trophy from Beachboys programme editor Alan Jessup-Peacock prior to kickoff against Havant & Waterlooville on Saturday.

Also celebrated on the day were Concord strikers Lewis Taaffe and Steve Cawley, both of which have been servants for the club for 3 years now and they continue to notch up countless goals for the Beachboys cause. This season Steve is leading the charge for the clubs golden boot, whilst Lewis is only a couple of strikes behind him as they led the side to our third Essex Senior Cup triumph in as many years. Pictured below are both Steve and Lewis receiving their commemorative trophies from programme editor Alan Jessup-Peacock prior to the Havant & Waterlooville game.
