Concord visited 2014/5 League champions Ramblers and started well competing equally around the pitch in the first half with several chances that came and went at both ends with the only notable event was Ramblers hit the post.

Second half was a little bit like melt down for Concord, as a collective lack of concentration left the defence exposed and a fast counter attack saw a fierce knee high cross from the left defected in as an own goal.  Concord continued to try and break them down, but Ramblers held firm and struck again as an error saw the ball bounce tamely past the Concord keeper.  A further cross from the left saw yet another deflected own goal go in.  Concord were now pretty deflated but Ramblers took advantage and scored the 4th.

Something to build on next week as this season brings more challenges for the coaches, team and parents.
