What? – Vanarama National League South

When? – Saturday 9th October 2021

This Saturday Concord Rangers will be on the road again as they travel to the Draper Tools Community Stadium to face Havant and Waterloovile. The Beachboys moved back up to 3rd place last weekend after a brilliant performance to overcome Tonbridge Angels 3-2 away from home and will look to pick up from where they left off on the road.

Our Opponents

Havant and Waterloovile currently sit 11th place in the league table after back-to-back losses in the league at home to Oxford City and away at St Albans respectively, but The Hawks recently got back to winning ways in midweek against Billericay Town as they progressed into the next round of the FA Cup. The Beachboys will be looking to get our first win against the Hawks since January 2015 with the last encounter between the two sides ending in a 0-0 draw at The Aspect Arena in February 2020.

Ones to watch:

Havant and Waterloovile – James Roberts: Roberts signed for The Hawks in the summer from Oxford City. The striker netted 11 times in 15 outings last season which made him one of the league’s standout players. After a goal and an assist in midweek, he’ll be looking to carry that on into this weekend

Concord Rangers – Ben Allen: After just signing for the Beachboys last week, he already has his first goal after a late winner at Tonbridge last weekend. His work rate and eye for goal has already impressed Chris Search and supporters. He’s sure to be a crowd favourite for sure at the Aspect Arena.
