Concord Rangers 2
Wall 11, 84
Pratt 31, 82
A score draw was the result with strikers Alex Wall and David Pratt both bagging a brace apiece.
Concord began with promise, and while on the front foot they took the lead. A neat move saw Wall stoop low to head Tyrone Sterling’s cross past Jonathan North in the Stones goal.
The visitors crafted their way back into the game, and notched a equaliser through Pratt. The impressive Tarryn Allarakhia shot low which Sam Beasant did well to save but Pratt was on hand to turn in the rebound at the back post.
With the game there for the taking both sides pushed forward in pursuit of three points and it looked to be Wealdstone who’d nicked them when Pratt added his second of the game. A left sided Monakana cross was nodded home by the mercurial frontman.
The Beachboys not content on accepting their situation, then piled forward and forced parity when Wall was well placed to smash home at the back post.
Concord came within a cats whisker of the win in injury time when Danny Green swung in a beautiful free kick which evaded all comers before sliding just by the far post.
