A George Porter header was enough to secure the three points for Maidstone United as they put aside Concord Rangers 6-0.

Former Beach Boy, Joan Luque, put the Stones ahead in the 11th minute after getting around Aron Pollock and passing the ball into the net.

Concord didn’t have many real chances to test the Stones’ defences however, Popo was unable to find the net from a Charlee Hughes cross as Ravan Constable got down low quick to keep his clean sheet intact.

To add to Concord misery, Justin Amaluzor smashed the ball into the bottom corner on the stroke of half-time to double Maidstone’s lead and head into half-time with a 2-0 lead.

Maidstone started the second half strong, scoring in the opening two minutes of the half. Haigh attempts to punch the ball clear but it falls to George Porter to make the scoreline 3-0 and see the game out of reach for the visitors.

Halfway through the second half, Hughes’ header rattled the post from a Hanfrey cross, which was teed up by Bridge who done very well to beat three players, nutmegging one in the process.

Minutes later, Maidstone sealed the three points as Amaluzor grabbed his second. The winger turned inside and out, putting Sterling aside and giving himself enough room to hit the ball into the top corner.

Seven minutes later, it was 5-0. A scramble on the goal line led to the fifth goal of the match. Rendell tapping it in from close range.

It did not end there for Maidstone. More embarrassment for the visitors as Charlie Seamen drives the ball into the bottom corner to make it 6-0, finalising the score line.
