JORDAN CHIEDOZIE hit a brace as Concord picked up a point at home to Rod Stringer’s Bishop’s Stortford, writes Alan Jessup-Peacock.
The visitors took a second minute lead when when Alex Woodyard brought down Sheldon Sellears in the box and George Sykes converted the resulting penalty.
And they were 2-0 down five minutes before the interval when Sellears hit a shot from well outside the area that sailed past the leaping Jamie Butler in the home goal.
But they reduced the deficit immediately when Cheidozie?s shot was blocked and Steve Cawley pounced to slam the ball home.
Concord drew level on 65 minutes when Chiedozie headed home a cross from the right. And he gave the Beachboys the lead with an almost identical goal six minutes later ? much to the delighted of the majority of the 247-crowd.
The celebrations were short lived, though, as a rare second half attack from Stortford saw them capitalise on confusion between Butler and his defenders with Roy Young?s 78th minute equaliser.
