With the 2021/2022 Vanarama National League South season now in full swing our Media team are looking to fill a number of media vacancies that have become available over the summer. These roles are detailed below:
Media assistant/Social media admin: This role will involve assisting our media manager in the running of our social media channels including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. It will also involve producing social media updates when the first team are playing including both Home and Away fixtures when called upon. It can also potentially lead to the successful candidate running pre and post-match interviews with members of the playing squad and management team to help build the bridge between the first team and supporters.
Videographer: This role has now become integral to the Concord Rangers media team in recent seasons. Helping to film first-team matches both Home and Away as well as any training sessions to help provide a behind the scenes look for our supporters. Experience filming football matches as well as editing footage is desired but not essential for this role. The football club will provide cameras as well as tripods as well as numerous other pieces of equipment. This footage will be used for the club’s YouTube channels as well as other Social Media platforms it will also be used on the National League website and the Leagues Social Media channels.
Photographer: We are also on the lookout for a photographer to join us here at the Beachboys, you will be in charge of photographing first-team matches both home and away for use on Social Media. Sadly we are unable to provide any equipment so someone who has equipment or is able to get equipment for matchdays is needed.
All of the above roles are voluntary, however will provide you with a platform to showcase. These roles are integral to continuing the build the bridge between supporters and first-team giving them a unique insight into Concord Rangers Football Club. Three of our current Media team are currently at three separate universities studying varying journalism degrees thanks to the work they have done here with Concord Rangers.
