This coming Saturday Concord Rangers will make the short trip across the Dartford Bridge to take on Ebbsfleet United in the Vanarama National League South.

Ebbsfleet United currently sit 2nd in the league on 54 points, 5 behind the long term league leaders Maidenhead United and will want to close that gap with a win this weekend. Fleet have won 5 of their last 6 fixtures, so they will go into Saturday’s fixture in fine form.

Concord Rangers have won just 1 of our last 6 league games, drawing 3, but will be buoyed by the impressive 3-2 victory this past weekend against the playoff hunting St Albans City. The Beachboys will look to get another vital 3 points to climb further from the relegation zone.

The last time the two sides met here at Thames Road it was the second game of the season back on August the 9th, and in a close game the visitors went away with a 1-0 victory.

It’s not a long drive to get to Ebbsfleet, after going up the A13 and crossing the Thames on the M25, you will need to come off there early at junction 2 in order to take the A2 which will be signposted Canterbury. Leave the A2 at the Northfleet/Gravesend West junction. At the next roundabout, follow signs to Ebbsfleet International Station/A226 which will take you on to Thamesway and past Ebbsfleet International. The stadium is at the end of the road.

As mentioned there, Ebbsfleet International station is just down the road, High Speed services operated by Southeastern from London St Pancras will take you there. The nearest station to the ground though is Northfleet, served again by Southeastern services from London Bridge & Waterloo East.
