Norman Wabo joined the Beach Boys last week, after leaving Margate FC. The attacker played the 60 minutes against Eastbourne Borough on Saturday. See what he had to say to Euan Rourke about arriving at the Club.

How do you feel about signing for the club?

I’m really happy signing for Concord. The manager has been trying to get me here for a while now.

I’m just glad to be able to play football again after being out of the game for some time now.

You haven’t played for a while, due to the pandemic, how did it feel playing 60 mins on Saturday?

To be honest, I thought I’d be more tired than I was, but it felt good to get 60 minutes in my legs. Once I get a few games in, I’ll start to get my rhythm back.

It was a deserved point on the weekend against Eastbourne Borough. What can you and the team do to build on Saturday’s performance?

Well first and foremost, we have to go into Tuesday’s game with the same hunger and desire to try and get a win. But the point is definitely something to build on and we will certainly go into the next game confident and with the will to win along with that.

What are your personal goals for the season?

I just want to get as many games as possible, but I’d like to get 10 goals before the seasons done and help the team climb as high as possible in the National League South.
