Today the lads travel to Hemel Hempstead Town in their final Vanarama National League South fixture before Christmas.
The Beachboys are on a fantastic run of form in the league at the moment, sitting as they are unbeaten in 10 games and winning their last three, the most recent being a 3-1 win at home to familiar old rivals Wealdstone. This run has helped the side climb to 16th in the table and on 23 points, 3 clear of Poole Town in 20th.
The Tudors are on their own excellent run of league form as well, unbeaten in 8 and winning 4 of those fixtures. Their most recent league win was two weeks ago when they emphatically beat bottom of the league Whitehawk by 5 goals to 0 away from home. This form has helped them maintain their place in the playoff spots, currently sitting 6th on 35 points, just 3 behind league leaders Dartford (who we welcome to The Aspect Arena in our first home game of 2018).
To get to Hemel Hempstead Town by road, head to the M25 via either the A13 or the A127, whichever is your chosen route, then join the motorway heading anti-clockwise/northbound. Stay on the M25 until junction 21 and leave then for the M1. Once on the M1 continue on the motorway for approx. 3 miles and leave at junction 8. Go straight over the first roundabout (2nd exit) and the second roundabout (2nd exit) as well, at which point you need to get in the right hand lane. Take the first right across the dual carriageway which leads in to Leverstock Green Road. Take the first left at the mini roundabout in to Vauxhall Road, and the entrance to the ground is on the right hand side by an out of place looking roundabout.
By rail is also a fairly easy journey. Hemel Hempstead is served by both London Midland and Southern trains, but the ones we’d use would be London Midland out of London Euston, and the journey takes around 35 minutes. From the station it’s a 10 minute taxi journey, there’s a rank right at the station, and there’s a firm at the ground who will be happy to arrange a return journey.
Admission to Hemel Hempstead is as follows: Adults £12, Concessions £8, U18s £4, U12s £1
